Add Rhinestone Straps to a Strapless Dress

Thursday January 06, 2011
Categories: Designer Dress Vlogs
We love fashion-savvy DIY projects. There are so many ways that you can change or alter a dress to make it even more unique and glamorous. In this video, Jonah teaches you how to add rhinestone straps to a strapless dress to give it that extra special sparkle. This easy alteration is great for women who need a little extra bust support or anyone who just wants to add a special sparkle to their look. We sell the rhinestone ribbon you'll need for this project in our accessories section in gold, black, and silver.

Thank you for sharing this video. I remember I use to also sew my straps on my strapless dress. Guess what guys? now there's all-in one straps (Strap N' Guard) that has exclusive "brooch hooks pin" to alter/restyle and secure your strapless dresses and all your strapless garments. The best part? no sewing required...This product is a life-saver indeed!!! :)

I cannot believe I didn't think of this! My daughter just found out yesterday that her school is not allowing strapless dresses at homecoming, which is tomorrow. You, sir, are a life-saver. This is not just a suitable work around, this is an improvement. Thank you!

what a great and informative video. i have a dress i really want to wear this weeked but i would be more comfortable if it had straps- i dont feel very supported. i thought id have to bring the dress to a tailor to add them, but after watching your video, im confident i could definently do it! thanks :)

You have saved my life as well and my bff's wedding! I needed straps and the ones that came with the dress were ugly and it was too late to get the matte satin dyed to match! I am gonna buy the materials TODAY and save my bridesmaid dress!
