Isla Fisher's Cannes 2013 Match
Isla Fisher's fabulous red dress was definitely a hit at The Cannes Film
Festival this year! Worn to The Great Gatsby premiere, the dress was Oscar de
la Renta with layers upon layers of of red ruffles. She wore simple, elegant
accessories and her flowing, red locks enhanced the style of this strapless
number. Instantly we knew that our Jovani was the perfect MatchMaker to
this red carpet look. It calls on all the elegance of Fisher's red carpet
ensemble with a few details of its own. Be sure and accessorize!

Heather Graham Does Yoga in Tadashi!
That's not a title we write every day! While promoting The Hangover 3 on
Conan O'Brien Presents, Graham decided to show-off some fancy yoga moves.
Why? To create a unique tweet for her new twitter account, @ImHeatherGraham!
She happened to be wearing Tadashi Shoji while flexing her yoga muscles and
it showed just how movable the dress is. At one point Conan even asked
if she could move in the dress. "Yeah!" she answered enthusiastically.
The tweetable end result: "Tonight I try out a new desk made of 100%
@ImHeatherGraham. #HeatherDesk" -@ConanOBrien

Octavia Spencer at the Cannes
Film Festival
Per usual, Octavia Spencer was rocking Tadashi Shoji on the red carpet. She
attended the photocall for her new movie, Fruitvale Station, in a teal, Gatsby-
esque drop-waist and wore a fiery-red number to the Fruitvale Station premiere.
Each Tadashi piece is custom made and fit for Spencer, who often collaborates
with Shoji. He told People Magazine, “Octavia has a great sense of style and
knows what looks good on her body so it’s easy!” Spencer also had a few nice
words. “Tadashi is a magician — I feel completely transformed tonight. Each
dress I wear of his feels like the first time all over again. This red
number makes me feel sexy and confident.”

Mar Saura dropped jaws at the 2012 Global Gift Gala in an blush and metallic beaded gown by Oscar de la Renta. Victoria Beckham can do no wrong in our eyes. The mother of four has been on the fashion radar since her days as a Spice Girl-but it was a recent conversion to notable designer that made us take note of her. Beckham wore a long sleeved black gown with shoulder embellishments. Beckham paired her glamorous look with a slicked back updo, black nail polish and a smokey eye. Our match for Beckham's gown is Jovani 9608 which features a high neckline, a long polished silhouette and studded and stoned embellishments at the shoulders.

Make the most of your physique with a long, white gown like the one actress Ali Later wore this Valentino dress to a non profit event in L.A. Ladies with hourglass figures, don't shy away from this style. Our Nika 6059 is similar to Larter's gown and features a sleek, long lines. This dress is alluring, dramatic and chic.

Sheer Panels
We fell head over heels with Stella McCartney's side panel madness in her fall 2011 collection. Our jaws dropped when we spotted Gwen Stefani wearing a sultry body suit with side panels. Kim Kardashian also sported a similar creation by McCartney-except in the form of a polka dotted body conscious dress. We love the hint of skin that runs down the side of the body-and while this dress definitely isn't for the faint of heart, we say run with it! Our Allure 6685 has a slimming effect on any body type as it highlights the natural contours of a woman's body while minimizing any problem areas.

Red Velvet
This upcoming fall is promising to be a very 'touchy-feely' kind of season-with all sorts of textures making the scene. Whispers of 'grandma chic' have been rustling about the streets and from the looks of it, fabrics, such as heavy tweeds and ultra rich velvet are on the horizon. We can't wait to get our hands on these inviting fabrics. A velvet revolution hit the fall 2012 runways, with designers like Gucci, Carven and Lanvin putting their own spin on this romantic fabric. We spotted L'Wren Scott's red velvet gown and were instantly charmed with it's deep red color and long and lean silhouette. Our Tadashi 3X1046Lis an uncanny match-with a longer, more dramatic hemline and beautiful deep lace inset at the back. We love the idea of a sleek ponytail, fresh skin and a deep red lip with this exquisite gown.

We love the chic and sultry silhouette of Nerea Garmendia's gold embellished mini cocktail dress by Emilio Pucci. High Collared Chic
One neckline we feel is way too often underestimated is the high collar. The high collar is perfect for showcasing the shoulders and neckline-lengthening the entire figure. Katie Holmes looks stunning in her blue Calvin Klein gown. The simple, yet classy silhouette flatters her figure. Holmes accented the dress with a skinny belt-but we think the dress would look equally stunning sans the belt. Our Mikael Aghal 18S360 is equally gorgeous. It features a unique yet stunning neckline that looks every bit like a necklace.

Spring 2012 Matchmaker Picks
Pastels
One of our obsessions for this Spring? Light washes of pastel colors. These pastels aren’t for the Easter bunny honey, we’re thinking yummy gelato colors like pistachio, lilac, creams and light pinks. Done right, pastels are youthful, fresh and oh so dewy looking. Our first matchmaker pick in this category was a beautiful blush colored V neck column gown with a fitted bodice and a flirty sheer overlay. Our version of the dress is as fresh and flowy. The skirt’s sheer overlay allows is whimsical, but never overdone.
Our second matchmaker pick was a strapless lilac hi-low chiffon dress. The sheer fabrics offset the light wash of lilac beautifully and creating movement throughout the dress. Our version of this dress is the our empire waist
Mignon VM538
. Its sheer flowing full skirt is reminiscent of our pick. The beaded waistband will highlight your waist and the plunging back drops jaws to boot.
Florals
It’s Spring and we’re loving the rush of florals on and off the runway. Our picks are as fresh as the tulip filled hills and daffodil lined walkways of Central Park. Don’t fret, babe; there’s a floral pattern fit for every woman. So before you hyperventilate over visions of tacky rose printed pants or infant-like floral prints, take a breather and take a cue. Our runway floral pick was a Badgley Mischka empire waist tropical floral hi-lo dress. We instantly fell for the punch of corals and pink florals , which highlight the hi-low cut of the dress. Our version of the dress is the
Jovani 3099
, which is a strapless empire waist floral dress. Intricate beading at the bodice adds just enough sparkle to contrast with the allover floral print. Why do we adore this dress? It’s ability to lengthen your body with its long and flowing skirt.
Brights:
Darling, we know you’ve been hiding behind plum and greys all winter long. It’s time to step out of your comfort zone before it accumulates dust and you scare off children. Our suggestion? Highlight your wardrobe with fresh, citrusy brights like limes, bright yellows and oranges. Our runway pick for this trend was the belted neon lime colored V neck dress with a sexy front slit by Oscar de la Renta. This classy silhouette was made youthful by the juicy lime wash and we love it. Our version of the dress is our
La Femme 17264
. Our slice of heaven is strapless and features an empire waist. A simple beaded waistband offsets the flowing skirt and adds length to the body.
Pixelation:
Maximize your wardrobe with a pixelation print. A pixelation print is a print that is blown up, showing the smaller, digitized detail. We love the futuristic 3-D feel of pixelation prints. Our runway pick for this trend was the floor length Naeem Khan black and white dress. We’re loving the digitized bold print in this empire waist boho sleeve dress. Our version of this dress is our
Niteline 443320.
This form fitting gown features a similar black and white polka dot pixelation print and a sweetheart neckline. A black ribbon belt accentuates your waist.
Lace:
There’s no denying the growing popularity of lace. It’s been a favorite on red carpets, runways and the sidewalks of New York. Once thought of as frilly and over-the-top, lace has proved itself as being subtly feminine, flirty and adds an air of innocence to the wearer. Now who can argue with a fabric that puts us in good graces in the fashion world? Our runway pick for this trend is the Valentino white long sleeved retro feminine lace cocktail dress. Our version of the dress is the
Jovani 171924.
This mini dress features a fitted lace bodice, cap sleeves, a cut-out back and feathered mini skirt. No need to thank us for this charming feature, doll.
Gold:
Gold tone dresses are making their statement this Spring. Rich looking, bronzes, deep blondes and iridescent gold took front and center on the Spring runways. We love the added depth that the rich looking hue adds to your complexion. Our runway pick was the gold toned strapless metallic mini dress by Versace. We love the color’s ability to highlight and add a youthful glow to the skin. Our version of the dress is our
La Femme 17517
. This strapless mini dress features a fitted bodice, sweetheart strapless neckline and a lavish allover print.
Whites:
When you think of your Spring wardrobe, think of a clean slate. Color purists had their way this Spring with the presence of crisp whites on the runway. Don’t think you can pull it off? Think again! White is fresh, ethereal and oh so clean looking. Our runway pick for the color was the sheer vintage inspired V neck dress by Band of Outsiders. Our version of the dress was
La Femme 14845
. This full length V-neck gown features a watercolor inspired floral print on the bottom which contrasts beautifully with the soft white bodice. Twisted white straps and light beading accentuate the waist.

|
STYLE THIS Terani 11028H
Terani 11028H. Here are two looks that work. Which do you prefer, option 1 or option 2? Feel free to suggest more!
LOOK 1:
LOOK 2:
HAIR: the half up option is a great one. It accentuates the beauty of a woman's neckline and stands out since most girls tend to do complete updo's for formals. Also, the princess sweetheart neckline is beautiful and you don't want to cover it with too much hair. ACCESSORIES: with a strapless dress long, dangling earrings are great. Since the exaggerated fabric rose and leopard print of this dress are complex, a more simple bracelet, shoes, and clutch bag will work best. A cocktail ring would also be fantastic.
UNDERGARMENTS: There are may different kinds of strapless bras on the market, but make sure to look for a simple one with smooth cups. Lace and other embellishments often leave a crumpled look under a strapless dress. Push up bras are also great with strapless bras, even if you don't think you need one. They give the most support and have the most weight to help hold your dress up.
Body shapers are also great to wear with fitted dresses. They also tend to remind us to stand up straight. Posture is very important in every dress, so keep those shoulders back and your head up! =)

Emmy Awards; Red Carpet Fashion
It goes without saying, one of our all-time favorite pastimes is watching top-tier celebs take charge of the red carpet. To see these stars sparkle in head-to-toe glamour equals good times for everyone involved. And this years Emmy Awards did not disappoint. The pre-show red carpet featured a parade of A-list ladies who brought it to flaunt it. Hello bombshells! With countless form-fitting silhouettes and plunging necklines to boot, the red carpet fashion said it loud and clear, sexy is back! Channeling a bit of Old Hollywood glamour with modern starlet appeal our best dressed of the night wowed us with pure delight. Here are our winners for the Emmy Awards red carpet fashion.
Nina Dobrev killed it! She hit spot on perfection with the red strapless mermaid gown. Ladies, take note (and that includes you Katie Holmes) this is exactly how a Hollywood star should look at an awards show. Immaculate fit...check! Diamonds encrusted with more diamonds on a necklace...check! Chic side sweep of the hair...check! Hold it all together petite clutch...check! Try it yourself with this evening gown by Nika. Don’t forget to bauble it up with a gorgeous choker and finish it off with a silver clutch. Red carpet ready you are.
Sophia Vergara plays sultry siren with ease. Her hourglass figure, luxurious locks of hair, and come hither accent set the perfect foundation for total va va voom. At the Emmy’s she chose to accentuate these features with a touch of class. The Vera Wang coral gown brought sophisticated elegance to her vixen-esque stature. Though the emerald earrings were a bit over-the-top, they tied in her Columbian roots. If you’re looking to amp up the allure for your next evening event, choose this asymmetrical gown by Gigi. Skip the oversized earrings and opt for a stellar cuff. You will need to-die-for heels to complete the look. Sizzling, seductive and stylin’!
Okay, we realize we’ve seen this dress before. But who would’ve thought that the simple addition of a cap sleeve, and a soft wave of the hair could bring it to life? Well that’s exactly what happened! Hilary Swank wore this Elie Saab last June for the Indian Film Academy Awards, but on the Emmy’s red carpet Evan Rachel Wood worked the gown in true Hollywood fashion. So sleek, so sparkly—we’re choosing seconds on this one! Ready for your own remake? Try this glittery gown by Mon Cheri Montage, add a cocktail ring then strike a pose—you’re it! |

| Style Icon: Kate Moss |
|
|
Kate Moss is the cool girl with the care not attitude. If we could hand out grades based on stylish aptitude, she gets an E—Exudes. Exceptional. Effortlessness. As the face that never goes out of style, according to Time Magazine, Kate continues to intrigue with the blink of a smoky kohl eye.
Making her debut on the runway with glamazons Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista, the 5’7’’ waif quickly found her strut, and surpassed the lifespan of the average supermodel. From cover girl to artist muse to designer to boho bride, the allure of Kate requires more than a pretty face. Her personal style has garnered more attention than any magazine could hope to achieve. She’s a trendsetter while ignoring all the latest trends. Let’s take a peek at some of the elements that make up Kate’s signature style.
Leather and lace: Kate brings an edge to every outfit. Sometimes in the obvious ways such as skin tight leather pants or a shaggy fur. Other times it’s unexpected such as when she took scissors to her Lanvin gown creating a shredded cloud of couture. Either way it’s undeniably cool. Dress like Kate tip: wear a downtown leather jacket over a full-length gown, add ankle boots and bed head hair. Get ready to rock and roll!
Vintage flair: Kate has a sixth sense for discovering vintage gems. When she was a teenager she’d scour the London flea markets for top notch quality and unreplicable silhouettes. She’s shared her knowledge as designer for both Topshop and Longchamp by incorporating those vintage treasures from her closet. Dress like Kate tip: buy a second hand blazer then pair with a printed mini and tights. Finders, keepers!
Bohemian rhapsody: The wedding of Kate Moss and Jamie Hince captured the free-flowing theme perfectly—see for yourself in the September issue of Vogue. In the cover story the bride confesses to a soft spot for the British television documentary series Big Fat Gypsy Weddings which sealed the deal for the supermodel / rocker marriage. The dress was exactly as it should’ve been—vintage inspired, slim fitting with sequins and delicate sheer paneling. Dress like Kate tip: slip into a billowy bloused mini, layer pendant necklaces, a floppy hat and over-the-knee boots. It’s all in the romantic details.
Eclectic mélange: Ultimately, it’s how Kate blends all of the above that makes her a true style icon. Her look is effortless! She has said that she doesn’t think in terms of outfits, but rather throws together what feels right for the night. Dress like Kate tip: wear what you love, what works well on your body, and let the cool girl attitude shine through.

| Sleeve up for Fall |
|
|
The first clue arrived in all-out glamour as Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie and Leighton Meester wowed us with their drawn out elegance at the Golden Globes. Following suit came the A/W 11 -12 fashion shows where Lanvin, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent expanded on the theme with inspired variations for the runway. But when Kate Middleton arrived at Westminster Abbey in full length gorgeousness, the deal was sealed. Long-sleeve dresses are in!
Totally tasteful and completely chic, long sleeves provide the perfect balance to a sexy frock. It's a refreshing response to the overly revealing dresses that sometimes plague the red carpet. Though several designers including Tory Burch, Rag & Bone and Pamella Roland went gorilla style for Fall with fur sleeves, there was a bevy of others who kept their sleeves clean. Here are a few of our favorite sleeve options for Fall. No fur necessary.
Call them balloon, pirate or billowy, these sleeves are floaty and fabulous. Easy to wear, especially when sheer, voluminous sleeves are meant to flatter in the most feminine of ways. This classy piece by Mignon is entirely appropriate for a black tie affair, or a red carpet event. To keep it chic, go easy on the jewels. Sparkly earrings and a cocktail ring set the tone for simple refinement.
Love them or hate them, you can't ignore them—the strong shoulder is here for Fall, and for this look you need a healthy sleeve. Think glamour with a rock star edge, the strong shoulder is often seen on Rihanna, Kate Moss and Mary Kate Olsen. Push the envelope in this glitterati of a dress by Issue NY, and get ready for girls night out!
If you love the strong shoulder, but veer more in a ladylike direction, then pare down in this form fitting lovely by Janique. It's trim silhouette is minimalism at it's best while the below-the-knee hemline is modernly right. Add a touch of bling and a smart clutch for pure girly delight.
We couldn't talk about sleeves without mentioning lace, another must-have for Fall. This black lacy frock by Sentimental winks at the royal wedding gown while maintaining it's own degree of drama. Great for date night, this sultry number turns up the volume to hot hot hot. |

| Go Body Con For Homecoming |
|
|
While our breezy outfits and carefree attitudes are enjoying every last bit of the summer sun, there’s a little voice within that reminds us to keep one sky-high heel forward in preparation for the next big thing. And that means Homecoming! The unofficial start to a new season that allows us to dress up in our favorite ensemble that’s hot enough to sizzle, yet cool enough for Fall. This year we’re coming up body con. The figure hugging silhouette plays up our best assets as seen by our favorite stars at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. From Kristen Stewart’s edgy hardware to Reese Witherspoon’s sexy animal print, the body con look is making a comeback. And you don’t have to be a size 2 to show it off, as gracefully demonstrated by Kate Winslet. The curvier the figure, the more feminine the fit. Here’s how to do Homecoming in form fitting fabulousness.

A surefire way to up the glam factor is with an embellished variation. If you’re looking to sparkle on the dance floor or simply shimmer in the night then you’ve got to choose this strapless number by Scala. Similar to the classic sexiness of Reese Witherspoon, the black and nude combo create total sophistication while the sweetheart necklines winks coyly to our favorite sweetheart, Ms Witherspoon. Style like Reese with nude heels and a simple gold cuff then become your own queen for the night.
If you’re looking to unleash the rock-chic within a la Kristen Stewart then this metallic mini by Faviana will do the trick. With a cross-body zipper and glitzy beaded trim you’ll create a jaw-dropping frenzy when you enter the room. Let the dress be your statement—style with minimal jewelry and ankle booties. Just looking for the Twilight starlet’s dress color and silhouette? Then go with this signature sweetheart by La Femme. Ramp up the fire engine red with a smoky eye and bold lip. You’ll be a shoo-in to the party, and a stand-out for the night.
For a chic and modern approach on Homecoming, try this lovely by Boutique. The bold blue gives a nod to Blake Lively at the MTV Movie Awards, and the stretch fabric will flatter and forgive in all the right places. Go all out in purple heels like the Gossip Girl, or keep it subdued with classic black. Either way, your hair should be sleek for a truly updated feel.
If you decide to go body con for Homecoming there are two must-haves to ensure success— superior shapewear and a strong dose of confidence. Use both and you’ll have a memorable outfit to showcase on your memorable night.

| Style Icon: Sarah Jessica Parker |
|
|
Oh SJP, how do we love thee? Let us confess it began with the unforgettable tutu dress that introduced us to the always awesome Carrie Bradshaw. With her daredevil approach to fashion, she went where no fashionista has gone before, and in the process set a new standard. She showed us that it doesn’t require typical beauty to become a style icon. Which is exactly what Ms. Bradshaw, and Sarah Jessica Parker have become.
Gracing the cover of Vogue six times including the August issue, the real life Carrie Bradshaw says that she is nothing like her character, but since playing the shoe-a-holic, she makes bolder choices as she reveals more in fashion.
With a starring role in the soon to be released, I Don’t Know How She Does It, we are sure that Sarah Jessica Parker will continue to woo us with her high quality acting chops and superior sense of style. For now, let us count the ways that SJP makes us swoon, and see how you too can advance to her level of noteworthy style.
Take the road less traveled. At the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere in New York City, SJP showed up in an easy breezy look. While her printed flowing maxi was totally red carpet appropriate, not many would pair it with a boyfriend blazer. And instead of carrying the red carpet friendly clutch, she chose a bucket bag. Take a walk on the wild side with this gorgeous maxi gown by Interlude. Add an oversized blazer and gathered handbag, and you’ll march to the same beat as SJP.
Be playful with accessories. In a dress that seemingly had a lot going on (asymmetrical, metallic, and belted!) the Sex And The City star draped a double strand necklace around her neck. Though less may be more for some, this outfit shows us that it’s fun to play with more. Try it out with this one shouldered frock by After Six. Don’t forget your belt and metallic heels!
If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Who says there’s an age limit to looking hot? Clearly not SJP when she strut her stuff in a sexy LBD with white booties. Here, the fit and trim actress takes a less is more approach, and with that body who wouldn’t! Get your sexy strut happening in this LBD by Mignon. Accessorize with ankle booties and a sassy attitude.
Wear what you love. Sarah Jessica is well rounded in her designer admiration. Despite her recent association with Halston Heritage, you’ll see her wearing all the big names without ever remaining exclusive to just one designer. For a Marie Claire cover, she returns to the color gold which she clearly has an affinity for. Try glamming it up like SJP in Sherri Hill’s golden mini cocktail dress. If you love it, go for it!

| Rihanna, Pop Diva & Style Queen |
|
|
Rihanna is considered a style icon by many, and it’s easy to see why. She’s bold, daring, brimming with confidence, and always exudes sexiness. And like Madonna, she knows how to reinvent herself, which is key to staying in the center of the spotlight. Since stepping on to the music scene in 2005, Rihanna’s look has constantly changed, flowing with various trends, pushing boundaries, and breaking into uncharted fashion frontiers. All this change is good for you because it means you have a lot to work with when creating your own Rihanna look.
Take a look at the above photo, and you’ll see two different sides of this darling diva: old Hollywood glamorous and fun ‘n’ flirty cocktail bombshell. To wax glamour like her, try a sultry mermaid gown like this one by Jovani with added bust embellishments and a cute cut-out back. But if short and sweet is more of what your after, this Janique dress has that perfect pop-star pizazz to heat up your evening.
Another dress that can help you channel the Rihanna style is Gigi 16529. At the 2011 BRIT awards this past February, she had a very similar dress. Both dresses have a unique and bold style, a fun pattern, and an asymmetrical hemline that’s bouncy, dancy, and fun. Every girl deserves to be a diva once in a while, and this dress will definitely let you achieve that a la your favorite nonstop pop star.
Remember that with Rihanna, it’s not just the dress; it’s the shoes, too. As you can see in the picture above, when she wore the black cocktail dress, she paired it with some stunning red stilettos for a look that went POP! Even as she was walking down the red carpet to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, she was wearing some striking heels. So as your planning the whole ensemble for the night, be sure to find an amazing pair of shoes to go along with the dress.
Finally, when you walk into the room, make sure to walk in like your the main event. Rihanna says in one her song, “hey baby, I’m a rockstar,” and you should have that confident attitude as well. Then, you’ll really be in full Rihanna form. |

Once again all eyes are on the lovely Cate Blanchett. The Oscar winning actress has wowed us for years with her bold performances both on screen and off. Now she’s back at it with a new movie and cover shoot to boot.
On the cover of T Magazine, Cate exudes pure fun. She streams bed-head chic with high-end fashion in an easy breezy editorial for the Summer Fashion and Beauty issue. And what about that smile?
Cate’s chameleonic style breeds an edgy elegance that’s earned praise from A-listers Jennifer Aniston and Leighton Meester as well as Giorgio Armani, who designed several of her amazing red carpet looks. He’s also the man behind those sharp suits in Hanna, her latest film.
In fashion, the Australian beauty brings on sophistication with high style gliding effortlessly from couture darling to menswear chic to maternity glam. With such an aptitude for adventure it becomes all too clear that Cate doesn’t play by the rules. She steps into fashion with the same vitality she brings to an acting role. And it’s this love and commitment that makes her a real iconoclast in the fashion game.
Of all the elaborate designs, we notice Cate always comes back to an asymmetrical neckline. Both her 2005 and 2007 Oscar gowns looped over a shoulder with jewel encrusted accents. In '05 she won the award, and dazzled us all in a rolling, pale yellow number. Though she didn’t bring home the Oscar in '07, she did rank high on the best dressed lists with a shimmering, body hugging column gown. You too can do the Cate with this draped Jovani, or this curve-hugging Terani.
Love it or hate it, you definitely spoke about it—the Givenchy haute couture Oscar gown. To some it didn't translate from runway to red carpet, but it was exactly what we'd expect from Cate—the unexpected. Once quoted as saying, “ you can't please everyone, but hopefully you'll surprise people,” Cate understands her role in fashion. She gets the art of it, and sees the red carpet as a prime spot to showcase such beauty. |

Who isn’t a fan of Kim Kardashian? She’s a huge reality star, has many endorsements, created her own perfume, always has the cutest boyfriends, drives around LA in a Bentley, attends the biggest fashion shows, travels all over the world, and the list goes on and on. Her fashion sense is something girls everywhere are a huge fan of. Kim is always absolutely gorgeous, especially on the red carpet, so it’s understandable if you want to copy her style on your big night.
Here are some great options by Faviana so you can look Kim Kardashian-esque:
Faviana Dress 6000 - which looks identical to the beautiful dress Kim is wearing in the photo.
Faviana Dress 6405 - for the girls who love the gown Kim is wearing in the photo, but want it shorter to show off great legs and shoes.
Faviana Dress 6718 - a little different take to the dress above worn by Kim, which also features a stunning back.
Faviana Dress 6777 - An amazing gown that you know Kim Kardashian would wear to a red carpet event!
To really complete her look, make sure you have a smoky eye—whether the colors you use are the usual black and silver, or if you decide to create the smoky eye with a different color scheme to match your dress. (Check out Kim’s green smokey eye here for an example.) Remember to pair your eye look with BIG eyelashes! The smoky eye, along with the dramatic lashes, is Kim's makeup signature.
As for hair, wear it down. Kim usually wears her hair down, and the style is very chic and has a lot of appeal, no matter if it’s straight, wavy, or curly. Guys love when your hair is down, too.
Finally, remember to also have the confidence that Kim Kardashian has . She’s proud of who she is and is comfortable in her own skin—you should be, too! |

| Fergie: The Pop Princess |
|
|
Fergie is one of our favorite celebrities. She always shows such strength and confidence, both onstage and on the red carpet. After all, she holds her own as the only woman in a group of guys, and she worked it out on her own when she branched out to pursue a solo career, making hits that made you want to get up and dance. What makes us love her even more is her impeccable style. She always looks flawless and comfortable in her own skin.
She always makes the right choice when stepping onto the red carpet. She looked stunning when she wore a sexy Pucci gown at the 2010 Grammys. This dress will accentuated all of her assets, made her look like the diva she is, and caused jaws to drop and heads to turn as she sauntered down the velvet ropes. You can get one similar to Fergie’s by Sherri Hill in black with a silver sash.
Fergie’s style has evolved over the years, and she is now a bona fide style icon. She makes each of her looks her own and looks amazing in every dress that she puts on. Fergie is the definition of cool with her attitude and talent. She’s a major trendsetter that we’ll all be looking to for inspiration from season to season, on and off the red carpet.

| The Perfect Match, Dress & Shoes |
|
|
Finding your perfect match isn’t difficult. No, we're not talking trying to find the guy you’re going to marry (that can be a little difficult). We're talking dress and shoe matching--the two important items you’re going to wear to that special event, whether it’s prom, a wedding, a spring fling, etc. It’s all about finding the perfect dress and shoe combination for you to wear that evening. The two pieces that together will make you feel flawless and magical.
Let’s start with the little black dress. A gorgeous LBD is always acceptable to wear to a formal occasion. The shoes the model is wearing in the picture are beautiful, but there are other amazing options, such as these pumps by Jovani or these high-heel sandals by Coloriffics. Although, before choosing which pair you will go with, you want to make sure you take into consideration what the event is. For example, if you’re going to a formal charity event, wearing the pumps with the dress would look best. Likewise, if you’re wearing the dress to the club, then definitely pair it with the rhinestone sandals.
Prom and Sweet 16 are all a huge part of a teen girl’s life. There are these amazing red and black shoes by Alisha Hill which will look wonderful paired with this red and black dress by Interlude, or this r red and black dress by Landa. These three red and black dresses are perfect for any one of those occasions. When you’re a teenager, it’s okay to be fun and hip, and these shoes show your fresh style. You can even pair the red and black shoes with a solid red dress or a solid black dress to make the dress stand out a little bit.
Shoe and dress matching can be a lot of fun, since just about any dress can be paired with just about any type of shoe. Just be sure to think about what the event is all about--so you can decide whether to go stiletto or sandal with your dress-- and how you want to show off your style! |

| Celebrity Style Spotlight: Megan Fox |

|
Megan Fox is one of the hottest celebrities right now. She’s gorgeous and probably every guy on this planet wants to marry her. What girl doesn’t want to look like her?
One word that always describes Megan Fox’s look is sexy. She is one girl who is never afraid to bring on the sex appeal—just look at her posing in this beautiful purple dress! You, too, can achieve this look.
Check out these stunning dresses by Faviana which can help you imitate Megan’s style:
All dresses feature a slit, so you, just like Megan Fox, can show off your legs and perfect shoes. Girls—these dresses are all excellent options for the prom! But, if you’re really feeling the purple color, check out this great dress by Tony Bowls.
If you decide to wear one of the above dresses, wear your hair in lose waves like Megan. You can either wear it all down, or try a side ponytail paired with some sparkly clips, and you will definitely capture that Megan Fox glamour.
Another thing Megan has is a ton of confidence. It’s what also makes her style filled with sex appeal work. When you see her on your TV walking down the red carpet, she gets her strut on and walks with her head held high. Just like her, when wearing a dress to a special occasion, you have to own it. Confidence is the sexiest thing you’ll be wearing that night!

| Red Carpet Redux: Because We Still Want More! |
|
|
With all the glamour that spilled out from Oscar Night it would be a shame to roll up the red carpet without one last look. Since we clocked in a full six hours glued to the tele, we have earned the privilege to dole out awards for our favorite ensembles. While we appreciate Hollywood’s A-list stepping out in bold color, we think the big prize goes to the ladies with the most shine. From Gwyneth’s shimmering sheath to Amy Adams’ blue-beaded beauty, the stars who went with a sparkling hue truly stood out. Here’s who lived up to our brightest expectations at the Oscars. Be warned-- sunnies not provided.

Let’s face it, Gwyneth Paltrow knows fashion. She knows what to wear, how to pair, and when to flaunt. The Oscars were just another opportunity for her to show off her know-how with a fine toothed comb. And finely combed she was with stick-sleek hair that perfectly complemented the minimal design of her Calvin Klein dress. By adding just the right touch of old world jewels, her appearance was modernly right with a hint of vintage charm. To achieve Gwyneth’s uber chic style, try this Tadashi on for size.
Michelle Williams was true to form in Chanel Haute Couture. A bit classic, a bit coy, the streamlined silhouette of the dress created an ideal platform for each delicately placed bead. Michelle has found her sweet spot with cropped locks, and a smoky yet ethereal make-up palette. We delighted in her demure grace that translated with a soft wink. For an asymmetrical take on Michelle’s dress, try this floor sweeping version by Scala.
Mandy Moore, who also got the memo to shine, donned a buff Monique Lhuillier gown. With a sequin here and a glimmer there - Mandy had it all covered, just barely. Her bits and pieces were given an iridescent glow that created sparks on the red carpet. You too can stun like Mandy in this precious gem by Mon Cheri.
New mom, Amy Adams trimmed down to perfection then flaunted her figure in a midnight blue sparkler by L’Wren Scott. She topped off the look with some serious bling- $1.35 million in Cartier emeralds and diamonds, to be exact. Another simple silhouette that both flattered and beamed brilliance. Get your glitz on in this hard hitter by Scala.
And lastly, we must not forget Halle Berry, the eternal beauty who radiates nothing less than perfection. This woman can do no wrong - especially when there’s a bedazzled Marchesa involved. Glam it up like Halle with this head-turner by Mac Duggal.

| At The Oscars: Who’s Gonna Knock Our Socks Off? |
|
|
The moment has arrived. The dress, selected from dozens of contenders makes an impeccable match with the fabulous shoes. The hair, finished with a gloss, complements the make up, sublime. Accessories are chosen. The jewels loaded on. It’s time for all things glamour to spring to life at the Academy Awards.

For the past several weeks, we’ve duly noted all the details from every Swarovski crystal to each mermaid silhouette as our favorite actresses traipsed from one red carpet to the next. Now, it’s time to gather our notes, and stake our claim on which Hollywood starlets will steal the show with her gown. Grab your metallic clutch, and let the strut begin!
In 2006 Michelle Williams charmed her way into fashion’s graces with a yellow stunner of a gown by Vera Wang. She literally popped off the red carpet as The Best Dressed of the night. While we weren’t huge fans of this years Golden Globes floral Valentino number, we do feel she’ll bring back her game at the Oscars. Her pure dazzle in Azzaro at Blue Valentine’s premiere, and daytime chic in Chanel at the Academy Award Nominee Luncheon reminds us that Michelle knows how to turn it on when prompted. With her gamine features and pixie cut, we think her gown should add a playful elegance to the night. Perhaps something both smart and dreamy like this from Tadashi.
It’s no wonder that Anne Hathaway is front and center on the cover of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue. After wrapping The Devil Wears Prada, she procured the styling services of Rachel Zoe which has since jumpstart the actress’ appearances to aspirational grounds. In a Giorgio Armani Privé evening gown at this years Golden Globes, she wowed us with her sexy sophistication. As an Oscars host, we are sure to go ba-na-nas over Anne’s steady stream of too-die-for gowns.
Cate Blanchett has always been a fashionable force to reckon with, and as a presenter this year, we detect no slowdown. Never one to resist the urge to surprise, she plays with fashion the way most of us play with dolls – with a sense of adventure and fun. We would love to see Cate work the drama of this Tony Bowls gown. But whatever she wears, we know she’ll easily make the translation from the runway to her-way, and the gown will fall nothing short of spectacular.

| Red Carpet Fashion (It's Not for the Everyday) |
|
|
It takes a village to achieve swoon-worthy red carpet looks. While we may enlist a BFF to help navigate through the sartorial trenches, Hollywood's A-list signs on an army. Stylists, make-up artists, hair-dressers, publicists, agents, fitness instructors, estheticians, and plastic surgeons conspire to clinch the ultimate in red carpet magnificence for their client. In hopes of ascending to the top of best-dressed lists, and avoiding the infamous Fashion Police run-in, our favorite stars must dress and impress to the nines. In order to shine on the red carpet, actresses must step into the spotlight of scrutiny. With every detail devoured, red carpet fashion holds its own set of rules. Here’s what’s needed to score big style points on the red carpet.
Image credits: Jason Merritt/Getty Images North America
Snatching a gown straight from the runway is like winning the golden ticket to red carpet success. Stylists attend fashion shows with their clients in mind, and once they’ve spotted The Dress, the battle has just begun. Magazine editors, eager to shoot their spring fashion pages, are coveting the same gowns. There’s also the inner industry competition between celeb stylists chewing at the bit for a piece of sparkling couture. By the time the Oscars roll around in late February, the collections from Spring, Fall and Haute Couture are all up for grabs. Beat the heat, and start your warm weather shopping now with our wide selection of summer frocks.
If the dress sets the foundation, the jewels add the glow. Natalie Portman gallivanted at the SAG awards in 2 million dollars of Tiffany bling. Her white Azzaro gown was enhanced by yellow diamond drop earrings and matching bangles for each wrist. At the same awards show, Lea Michele complemented her Oscar De La Renta sheath with almost 1 million dollars worth of Tiffany rocks stacking her arm in shimmering glitz.
Holding ground for all gowns is a sharp pair of heels. The right pair carries the look from head to toe. The wrong pair recklessly skids into worst-dressed territory. At the Grammy awards, Jennifer Hudson was smoldering in a Versace dress that cinched her tiny waist to perfection. Unfortunately, the shoes didn’t provide the proper pop. A pair of silver gladiator sandals would’ve given a better lift, and a flawless look could have been hers.
And lastly, there's an attitude that must be conveyed which measures beyond mere confidence to an engaging radiance. Kristen Stewart’s go-to accessory, the frown, does nothing to help her win points in the style department. But the cool grace of Nicole Kidman shows all signs of a bona fide star who has mastered the red carpet with savoir faire. |

| It's Glamour Season (We Can't Get Enough) |
|
|
| We are always up for a quick trip to fairy tale land, but we must confess that the romantic storyline isn't really the catch. A beautiful princess swept away by her prince charming is a dream for many. For us, the magical princess gown is the true heart stealer—especially when it's encrusted with myriad shimmering crystals!
Currently, we’re in full princess mode. It started with the Golden Globes, and stretches out to the grand Oscar finale. We get to play dress up via our favorite celebrities who take on the sparkly role of modern day princesses. Each year they take us on a ride from haute couture to not really sure (Swan dress anyone?). So far, this year is proving to hold its own in terms of capturing style and dictating trends. As Award Season shifts into full gear, the glamour is bursting from its sequined seams. Here's what’s rolling down the 2011 red carpet.
This is definitely the year of the Swan—not the previously mentioned Bjork Swan. It's all about the Black Swan, which is hands down the big winner when it comes to merging fashion and film. As soon as sister act Rodarte signed on to costume seven couture tutus, a designer spectacle was primed to take the stage. The poised charm of Natalie Portman, and carefree elegance of Mila Kunis leaps easily from ballet barre to red carpet. Both have proven their finesse in selecting gowns as they continue to rank high on best dressed lists.
With our gaze glued on the prima ballerina, the obvious color choice for the red carpet is pink. And boy is everything coming up roses! While we love the breath of fresh air that a soft blush delivers, we go wild for the shock value of a bolder shade. Claire Danes hit the right note at the Golden Globes in a neon silk halter gown by Calvin Klein. At the SAG Awards, Jennifer Lawrence let her Oscar de la Renta fuchsia dress do the talking. Follow the lead of these ladies and think pink for your next gown. And don't forget to add a rosy pucker to your pout!
The bling was bright and the ice was right, but the biggest accessory on the red carpet was the belt. Among the belted beauties at the SAGs were the aforementioned babes: Mila Kunis, Claire Danes, and Jennifer Lawrence. With a multi-purpose twist, the cache of a sash brings every figure into shape. A little cinch adds a sharp punch that lifts a simple gown from wow to pow. Find your belted gown, and get set to tie one on.
