NYD: What are some of the in-house favorites at Faviana?
Faviana: Some of our favorites include printed ball gowns and a-line ball gowns. We also love simple, classy styles such as 6428 and some of our hottest new slims.
NYD: What do you think women look for in an evening dress?
Faviana: Hmmm, most women look for something that flatters their figure. And they also want perceived value.
NYD: What trends are you embracing this season?
Faviana: We’re embracing beaded illusion and illusion with chiffon bottoms. We also have modified one-shoulder looks and have taken our own spin on the sequins.
NYD: So Kate vs. Pippa, which Middleton sister is making the biggest fashion waves?
Faviana: We’re partial to Pippa. Her shape and style are better for our designs, and she just looks gorgeous everywhere she goes.

Faviana: Simple, understated class. Our favorite stars to watch on the red carpet are Angelina Jolie, Carrie Underwood and Eva Longoria.
NYD: Prom’s just around the corner, do you have any fashion advice for this year?
Faviana: Go for something different, and wear a hi-low dress or try a slit. Pair your hi-low or slit dress with some amazing shoes for a knockout prom look.
NYD: Can you give us the insider’s dish about any up-and-coming collections? (Silhouettes, embellishments, fabrics, colors, etc.)
Faviana: We went after stretch mesh this year more than ever, and we used stretch taffeta and stretch satins as well. We’re is known for our unique prints, and we also tried ombre sequin dresses this season—these are sure to be a hit at all events this year!
