Fall Hair Trends

Fall is officially here and while that means colder weather and busier schedules, our hair should have an air of ease and class. Want to know what fall trends are in for your precious head of hair? Relax, they’re filed under the ‘no fuss, no muss’ category. We can dig it.

Color: It’s time to bid farewell to the rainbow bright colors and ombre trends of last season. Fall is much more about being in tune with nature. Don’t be afraid to don your natural color or a variation of it. A smattering of highlights will add depth without looking overdone. We love Jessica Biel’s dark chocolate color.

Top Knot:The top knot is here to stay. This style always looks great and is super easy to wear. This style is perfect from daytime to evening, it can look as casual or dressed up as you want it to look. What’s best? It’s always a savior on bad hair days. We like Leah Michelle’s version.

Braids: Once thought of as a grade school do, braids are one of the most popular hair trends this past year. With varying styles popping up on celebrities and lookbooks everywhere, you’ll never run out of ideas. We love Jennifer Hudson’s chunky side braid.

Texture: You may opt out of using that hair straightener so much this Fall. Natural, wavy, sort of easy hair is in this Fall. Learning to love the natural texture of your hair is really important. We love Lou Doillon’s natural wave and Solange’s natural hair.

Length: There was a definite shift towards longer locks on the Spring runways and red carpet. Longer hair doesn’t mean extreme lengths, just longer, even layers that flatter the face. We love Lauren Conrad’s long hair.
