Bye Bye Bags!

Ask any woman what item she can’t leave her house without and most will tell you that it’s her bag-without even giving it a second thought. Truth be told, it’s another kind of ‘bag’ women want to avoid altogether. Sometimes, no amount of concealer can properly cover up that baggage. Let’s face it-tired eyes and under eye bags can result from not enough sleep, poor eating habits and even stress. We found out that caffeine and tannins in tea can help tried the tea bag test and loved the results. It’s best to try this method when you have a couple of extra minutes in the morning or even on your day off.

The tea bag trick: Leave two bags of tea, (preferably green or chamomile) to steep in hot water for a couple minutes. Remove the tea bags with tongs and place them in a bowl, (without wringing them) and let them sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes until cool. Afterwards, gently wring the excess liquid out of them and lay them gently on top of your eyes and underneath your eyes. Leave them there for about 15 minutes.

The Ice Cube Trick: Take an ice cube, wrap it in a paper towel and let it rest on top of your eyes for about 5 minutes. The cold compresses will help to get the blood flowing better and help reduce dark circles.
