Kristen Ann Carr Fund

On April 30th, the 18th Anniversary A Night To Remember event in New York City to benefit the Kristen Ann Carr Fund. The fund began in 1993 by rock musician Bruce Springsteen’s co-manager Barbara Carr whose daughter’s life was been claimed by Sarcoma, (a little understood form of cancer). Thankfully, the fund has since established a sarcoma laboratory at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, providing fellowships in surgery and oncology in the treatment of Sarcoma and other illnesses in teens and young adults.
Several celebrities that attended this year were Michael J. Fox Brian Williams and Bruce Springsteen. Past attendees include The Eagles, Sting, John Mayer, Katy Perry, Rolling Stone, Bill Murray and Whoopi Goldberg.
