Dos and Don’ts: Nude Lip
A nude lip can be beautiful, minimal and youthful looking. We love a nude lip because it works beautifully when paired with a strong and smokey eye and it also looks great when worn alone. Take heed of the chalky lip, ladies. A nude lip should never make you look super pale or unnatural. Make sure and apply a primer and lip balm before the lipstick so your lips are perfectly moisturized. Flaky lips are bad lips. Here’s how to choose the perfect shade for your complexion:
Fair: If you’re a fair skinned beauty, stick with a rosy, pink-tined nude lipstick like Smashbox’s Flawless.
Golden: Those with golden undertones should opt for light, creamy beiges like Crème d’Nude by MAC.
Olive: Girls with olive skin have got it good – they can pull off nearly any nude shade. For a neutral nude, try Revlon’s Nude Attitude.
Dark: For dark skin, indulge in rich, gold-brown lipsticks like Bobbi Brown’s Cocoa.
