As soon as the first gorgeous asymmetrical gown with ostrich feathers atop and a single embellishment at the side, the audience drew silent and gazed in wonder. Taffeta dresses boasted impeccable construction and craftsmanship and sparkled embellishments were the new black. Crowd favorites included an orange jumpsuit, a two toned peoplum gown and a tulle mini with an asymmetrical top. Venexiana’s collection was a perfect marriage of Old Hollywood and royalty glam. The designer Keri Stern did not shy too far away from her signiture rock-in-roll aesthetic, mixing in black seqiun gowns and feathered peplums towards the end.
